[Afpif] [af-ix] AfPIF-4 Fellowship for IXPs & NRENs

Hi Michuki,

am  applying  for the full fellowship in order to participate in the
AfPIF-4 meeting to be held in Casablanca .

Answers to the question asked


i. Indicate whom the IXP has nominated to represent them at the AfPIF 
event.

ii. Indicate if you are requesting for partial or full fellowship

Full fellowship

iii. Indicate the departure city and country

Nairobi, kenya

iv. Indicate your interest to participate at the Af-IX meeting to be 
held on
afternoon of 2nd September (early arrival for event)

am interested in participating in this meeting since i missed the first 
sitting in lusaka zambia.

v. Provide a plan of how you intend to socialise the AfPIF event to your
members between now and the start of the event

making them aware of the event through our IXP
mailing list both technical and security mailing list, using both kixp 
and tespok twitter handler which has good followings.

vi. Provide an indication of how many peers/operators you can bring to the
AfPIF event (the peers/operators should be willing to meet their own travel
and accommodation expenses)

will try get at least 3 opertors to the forum and will convince them to 
the importance of the event.


vii. Provide information on how you intend to share your experiences with
the community upon your return from the AfPIF event.

  information mainly through discussions with the members of
the IXP through our mailing list as well as trying to organize a 
workshops for memebers to discuss and understand the importnace of 
peering ,
Ipv6 deployment and of course the stautes of network security in the 
kenyan space
